Our Story

Established in Melbourne in 1941

Take three family businesses with rich heritage; with a shared passion for their field of expertise; a shared vision that their clients should be more than just clients; and a belief that you should care for your customers’ business as if they are your own.

The result is MVA Bennett; the amalgamation of MV Anderson & Co, The Bennett Group, Aberdeen to create an accounting firm that is more than the sum of its parts. We know what it’s like to build a business and we care passionately about making it easy for our clients to run theirs efficiently and effectively. Words are easy, but we ask you to put those claims to the test and we will not be found wanting.

We empower our Team to build and develop professionally through training and education whilst engaging our clients and community. Our leadership is demonstrated through honest and open communication with both clients and Team. MVA Bennett and our clients mutually agree to partner with each other.

This together with our relationship with Walker Wayland Australia, an association of independent but like-minded professional firms located throughout Australia and New Zealand, ensures that our Team and our clients have access to the best and most up to date and comprehensive resources possible.
